The US Does Not Have ADHD

If I hear the words "Iraq" and "distraction" in the same sentence one more time, I'm afraid I might hurt somebody. I suppose the war in the Pacific against the Japanese was a "distraction" from the war in Europe against the Germans. Dick Clarke is only the latest Bush critic, including many from the Clinton administration and all of the Democratic presidential contenders, to have peddled this cliche. It would be a much more compelling argument, though, if we hadn't captured or killed so goddamned many of those al Qaeda creeps!!
